Zahra Buhari is one of the daughters of President Muhammadu Buhari. Zahra has four siblings: Aisha, Halima, Yusuf and Amina, and three step-sisters: Fatima, Hadiza, and Safinatu.
Zahra Buhari follows the footsteps of her influential parents, father rules the whole country and mother used to be a businesswoman and now is a women’s right activist and child right advocate. Naij.com went though Zahra’s achievements and made a list:
1. Zahra visited one of the Internally Displaced Persons’ (IDPs) camps. Many of her followers were excited about the prospect of seeing her take after her father in caring for others.
2. She visited the camp after she became an ambassador of the ACE charity over two months ago.
The ACE (Assisting Caring and Empowering) charity is a non-profit organisation making a sustainable, realistic and effective difference in the lives of Africans.
3. Moreover, Zahra, a medical microbiology student of the University of Surrey, England, also joined the SCAF (the Sickle Cell Aid Foundation) team.
Becoming a brand ambassador, Zahra totally committed herself to the cause of breaking the sickle cycle in Nigeria.
4. Zahra accompanies her father during his trips quite often. When Buhari went to London, Zahra came along. She even managed to take a photo with the boss of ‘Ovation International’ magazine, Dele Momodu, at Picadilly Square.
5. Zahra and her brother Yusuf seem to be quite close. They can be seen walking hand in hand quite often, including this time when Buhari was sworn in during an inauguration ceremony.
6. Zahra is very beautiful young lady who has great sense of style. She looks great every minute of every day.
7. She is a wonderful daughter. Her parents must be very proud to have such responsible and clever child!
