Lagos state governor, Akinwunmi Ambode
The confirmation took place during plenary session, followed by the presentation of the report of the 15-man committee by chairman of the committee, Wasiu Sanni Eshinlokun, Daily Post reports.
Eshinlokun, while presenting the report, revealed that all the nominees met with the committee and submitted copies of their CVs and certificates as requested.

He said that their credentials were thoroughly verified by the committee between Monday, October 5 to Friday, October 9, at the Lateef Jakande Hall within the premises of the Assembly.
The Speaker of the House, Mudashiru Obasa, consequently ordered the clerk of the House, to send a letter to the governor, notifying him that the nominees have been confirmed by the House.

Meanwhile, Governor Ambode on Wednesday, October 14, paid a condolence visit to the family of late Tajudeen Disu who was the managing director of Lekki free trade zone.
Disu was one of the several persons who were killed during a fracas between policemen and residents in Okunraiye community near Ibeju-Lekki area of the state.
