We Are Ready For Burkina Faso - Eagles

As Nigeria prepare for their final quest to qualify for 2016 African Nations Championship (CHAN), Super Eagles assistant coach, Salisu Yusuf, has revealed that the boys are in high spirit for the match against Burkina Faso.
Speaking at a media parley at the Presidential Hotel in Port Harcourt ahead of Saturday’s encounter with Les Etalons of Burkina Faso, Yusuf expressed confidence that Eagles will give a good account of themselves.
He said: “The players have shown great improvement tactically, technically and in all aspects. We will approach the match with all seriousness, and will play the squad that will deliver what we want.
“We want to score a high number of goals, but we must start from one. I am sure Nigerians will appreciate us after the game.”
Also, in-form Super Eagles striker Gbolahan Salami, who was a member of the side that won bronze at the last championship in South Africa early 2014, said the Eagles desire to win well on the pitch of the Adokiye Amiesiamaka stadium on Saturday evening.
“I am looking good today and I am fine. Tomorrow will be a happy day for us as we will encourage eachother. I need to deliver tomorrow. I believe in myself,” he said.
On his path, Sunday Oliseh’s direct assistant, Jean Francois Loscuito said he hoped his experience of working in Burkina Faso will help greatly in devising a playing pattern that will unsettle the opponents.
“I spent one season in Burkina Faso,” he started. “I have worked personally with four of the players who are so rich in experience. I know most of them and hopefully we are going to scale through tomorrow,” Loscuito boasted.
