Ministerial Screening: APC Congratulates Amaechi

The All Progressives Congress (APC) said the postponement of Rotimi Amaechi’s ministerial screening is a sign that he will triumph.
The Senate has been deferring the screening of Amaechi, the former governor of Rivers state due to the inability of the Senate committee on ethics and privileges headed by Sam Anyanwu to submit its report on the corruption charges levelled against him.
The Senate had said Amaechi would be screened today but it has been postponed once again.
In reaction, the APC took to its official Twitter handle to congratulate the former governor in advance, saying he would be victorious like his boss President Muhammadu Buhari.

The APC also shared a video accusing Amaechi’s successor, Governor Nyesom Wike of being after the former governor and spreading lies about him.
The Senate ministerial screening which began last week Tuesday, continued today, October 20. So far, 1 as ministers.
A political and civic-action group called , as minister, saying he deserved the appointment given his role in the emergence of the new dispensation.
